Hudson River

 

The Hudson River is a 315 mile river that runs from the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York down to New York Harbor where the river empties into the Atlantic Ocean. Discovered in 1609 by the Europeans, the Hudson River quickly became a popular waterway and mode of commerce and transportation for in early American history.  Today the region that runs along the Hudson River contains many historical landmarks and recreational activities. The scenery along the Hudson River is popular in all seasons and is a land full of beautiful landscape.
